Concrete Calculators
Pick the calculator that matches your project. Each one shows its math, converts units, adds waste and reports bags, weight and a cost range. The main calculator on the home page covers five shapes with PDF reports.
Shapes and structures
Calculators for the basic forms: flat slabs, footings, columns, walls, stairs, curbs, round slabs, tubes, tube forms and post holes.
- Slab calculatorLength × width × thickness to yards and bags.
- Footing calculatorStrip or spread footings in yards and bags.
- Column calculatorRound or square columns, piers and footings.
- Wall calculatorPoured walls with door and window openings.
- Stairs calculatorSolid concrete steps with an optional landing.
- Curb and gutter calculatorCurb, gutter and flag from the cross-section.

Common projects
Slabs with the defaults of a typical driveway, patio, sidewalk or equipment pad.
Bags, yards, weight and cost
Convert a volume to bags, yards or cubic meters, weigh it and price it.
- Bag calculatorHow many 40, 50, 60 and 80 lb bags.
- Yards calculatorSquare feet × thickness = cubic yards.
- Cubic meter calculatorMetric concrete volume in m³ with yd³ and ft³.
- Weight calculatorPounds, tons and kilograms for any volume.
- Cost calculatorCompare a truck with bags using your prices.
- Pallet calculatorPallets, loose bags and weight to haul.
Materials and reinforcement
Estimate the other materials that go with concrete.

Frequently asked questions
Which calculator should I use for a patio?
Use the patio or slab calculator. Enter length, width and thickness, and keep the 4 in default unless your plan says otherwise.
Do the calculators work in metric?
Yes. Every length input has a unit selector for feet, inches, yards, meters, centimeters or millimeters, and the results show cubic yards, cubic feet and cubic meters.
Can I add several results together?
Yes. Use Add to Pour List under any result and open My Pour List to see the total.
Estimate only. Results depend on the numbers you enter, ground conditions and your supplier. For structural work consult a licensed engineer and follow local codes. Brand names such as Quikrete and Sakrete are used only to cite published product data. This site is not affiliated with any brand.
